Pan Fried Chicken

Their menu items are caringly made from scratch using the freshest ingredients. The Morning Blend welcomes The Machine Shed as they share some of their delicious recipes with our viewers.

1 whole chicken cut into 8 pieces
3 C flour
1 T salt
1 t black pepper
1 t garlic powder
1 t onion powder
2 C butter milk or milk

In a bowl place chicken and cover with milk. Place in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. In a bowl combine all dry ingredients together. Place chicken in flour and cover completely. In a large skillet (one that can be placed in oven) over medium high heat place enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan. Place skin side down and cook until golden brown turning as needed. Place into a 350 degree oven till breast probe at least 165 degrees. Approx 25 minutes.
